Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Market Expansion & Distributor Appointment

  • Identify and appoint new distributors across Odisha for PTMT bath fittings.
  • Develop a strong dealer and retailer network in urban, semi-urban, and rural markets.
  • Conduct surveys to identify high-potential markets and unexplored districts.

2. Sales Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the company.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies tailored to Odishas market conditions.
  • Monitor distributor sales, stock levels, secondary sales, and payment cycles.

3. Channel Partner Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and plumber community.
  • Conduct regular visits to markets to ensure brand presence and product availability.
  • Train distributors on PTMT product range, features, pricing, and schemes.

4. Marketing & Promotional Activities

  • Organize plumber meets, retailer promotions, and product demonstrations.
  • Implement company schemes, display kits, and brand visibility programs in the market.
  • Work closely with the marketing team for local-level promotions.

5. Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain daily sales reports, competitor analysis, and monthly business reviews.
  • Ensure submission of MIS reports, market feedback, and customer insights to management.
  • Plan market travel routes to ensure full coverage of all districts.

6. Customer Service

  • Handle complaints regarding PTMT products and coordinate for timely resolution.
  • Ensure distributors follow proper after-sales support and service protocols.

7. Operational Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely order booking, payment collection, and implementation of credit policies.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team for dispatch and delivery planning.
  • Keep track of distributor claims, scheme settlements, and stock returns.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong distributor appointment and channel development experience
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets consistently
  • Strong network with sanitary ware dealers and plumbers in Odisha (added advantage)
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and result-oriented
