Job Description

Staff Nurse / Clinical Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care:
Provide
high-quality patient care
to individuals undergoing ophthalmic surgeries and OPD consultations.
Assist the eye OT (Operation Theatre) team during various procedures, including
phacoemulsification
,
vitreo-retinal surgery
, and other ophthalmological procedures.
Coordination & Documentation:
Maintain
accurate and confidential records
of patient data, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
Collaborate closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure the seamless coordination of patient care.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure strict
compliance with hospital policies
and protocols related to
infection control
, medication administration, and sterilization procedures.

Educational Qualifications

A degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
A valid State Nursing Council Certificate is mandatory.

Required Skills

Clinical Acumen:
Strong clinical skills with a focus on ophthalmology, including experience in assisting with eye surgeries.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous in maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to clinical protocols.
Teamwork:
Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Communication:
Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues.
Compliance:
A firm understanding of and commitment to infection control, safety, and sterilization standards.
