Staff Nurse (OT)

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse in an IVF clinic provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments. The role involves assisting doctors during procedures, administering medications, maintaining patient records, and offering emotional support to patients and families throughout their fertility journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist doctors during IVF-related procedures such as ovum pickup, embryo transfer, and intrauterine insemination (IUI).
• Administer prescribed medications, hormonal injections, and monitor patients’ responses.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care to patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication schedules, and lifestyle recommendations.
• Monitor and record patient vitals, medical history, and treatment progress.
• Maintain strict infection control and hygiene standards within procedure rooms.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of medicines and consumables.
• Provide emotional support and counseling assistance to patients undergoing fertility treatments.
• Coordinate with doctors, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals for smooth patient care.
• Prepare procedure rooms, manage instruments, and ensure availability of required supplies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/GNM/B.Sc. Nursing (recognized by Nursing Council).
• Registered Nurse with State Nursing Council.
• Prior experience in Gynecology/Obstetrics/IVF clinic preferred.
• Knowledge of fertility treatments and protocols is an advantage.
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-sensitivity environment with confidentiality and professionalism.

Work Conditions:

• Location: IVF Clinic/Hospital
• Shifts: Rotational (Day/Night as required)
• Reporting to: Nursing In-charge / IVF Center Head

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,086.00 - ₹25,484.35 per month
