Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Overseeing the administrative functions of the unit.
Responsible for daily deployment of staff according to the bed occupancy & nurse ratio.
Preparation of the patients for minor, major and emergency surgeries.
To monitor raising of various requisitions related to treatments and nursing procedures by coordinating with ward coordinator.
To monitor that the pain assessment of the patient is done periodically.
To monitor and provide department and unit specific orientation on policies including biomedical equipments, resuscitative techniques etc to the staff.
To monitor and ensure the implementation of all hospital and department specific policies and procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

GNM/ BSc. Nursing,

Registered with PNRC

Experience: 2-10 Yrs
