Staff Nurse (ICU)

Job Summary:
The Staff Nurse in the ICU provides round-the-clock care to critically ill patients, ensuring proper monitoring, timely interventions, and adherence to clinical protocols. The role demands strong clinical judgment, quick responsiveness, and compassionate patient handling.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vitals, maintain patient records, and promptly report abnormalities to physicians.
• Administer medications, IV infusions, oxygen therapy, and life-support equipment as per guidelines.
• Assist during emergency procedures, intubations, and code blue situations.
• Maintain infection-control practices and ensure proper handling of medical equipment.
• Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other nursing staff for smooth patient care.
• Educate patient families on condition updates, precautions, and care plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation, shift handovers, and patient safety at all times.

Qualifications:

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing
• Valid nursing registration (State Nursing Council)
• ICU experience preferred but freshers with strong clinical knowledge may also be considered.

Skills Required:

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-care skills
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly
• Knowledge of ICU equipment (ventilators, monitors, syringe pumps)
• Good communication and teamwork
• Compassionate patient care approach
• Attention to detail and adherence to protocols

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
