Job Description

RUNGTA HOSPITAL & RESEARCH CENTER is looking for Staff Nurse - CTVS ICU ,Emergency to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.

Key Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to cardiac surgery and trauma patients (pre-operative & post-operative).
Assist surgeons and anesthetists during CTVS procedures and emergency interventions.
Monitor vitals, ventilator parameters, infusion pumps, and hemodynamic indicators.
Maintain strict infection control practices in ICU and Emergency settings.
Administer high-alert medications (inotropes/vasopressors) as per protocols and ensure safe drug administration.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care and rapid stabilization.
Support families by providing updates, education, and counselling regarding patient condition and post-surgery care.
Document nursing care in HIS/EMR accurately (Medication charts, Triage notes).
Ensure readiness of equipment (Defibrillator, Ventilator) and emergency supplies in ICU/ER.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Cardiac and Trauma care protocols (ACLS/BLS).
Ability to work in high-dependency and fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication & teamwork under pressure.
Empathy and patient-centric approach.
Critical care knowledge (ICU monitoring, airway management, emergency response).
