Staff Engineers - Wi-Fi Design/Verification/Implementation

As an engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Wireless Technology projects, specifically focusing on IEEE 802.11 standards. Your role will involve collaborating with design teams globally and contributing to the development and implementation of hardware blocks for complex SoCs. You will also play a critical part in the WLAN subsystem, ensuring the successful delivery of IPs to the SOC design team. Strong fundamentals in Microarchitecture, Computer Arithmetic, Circuit Design, and Process Technology will be essential for excelling in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop HW blocks (IP design) and conduct High/Mid/Low level Design reviews - Deliver IP to Subsystem team for complex SoC integration - Contribute to WLAN subsystem and IP design - Work on developing IPs for upcoming Wifi standards like 802.11bn - Provide expertise in verification, pre and post silicon debug processes - Implement next-generation WLAN hardmacro designs - Utilize tools like Synthesis (DC or Genus), Formal Verification (LEC / Formality), Conformal Low Power, PTPX, Primetime, Conformal ECO - Experience in UPF based power intent and synthesis Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field - 2+ years of Hardware Engineering experience for Bachelor's degree holders, 1+ year for Master's degree holders - Strong understanding of OOP concepts and experience in HVL such as System Verilog, UVM/OVM & System C - Excellent communication skills for global team collaboration Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
