Staff Accountant

As an Accountant at our client, a reputable company in the real estate sector, you will play a crucial role in the finance team by ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data. Your solid grasp of accounting principles and real estate transactions, coupled with your ability to maintain precise books of accounts, will be key to your success in this role. Your analytical and organizational skills will be essential in supporting the accounting team effectively. **Responsibilities:** - Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations - Record real estate transactions, such as property purchases/sales, rent incomes, and brokerage commissions - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports - Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to the monthly close schedule **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field (B.Com completed or pursuing) - 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles - Proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, basic formulas) - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries - Familiarity with Tally or other accounting software is a plus - Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn If you are detail-oriented, possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, and are looking to build your career in the real estate sector, this opportunity in Amravati, Maharashtra is ideal for you.
