Staff Accountant II

As a Staff Accountant II at Enverus, a leading energy SaaS company, you will play a crucial role in preparing balance sheets, submitting financial reports to management, and ensuring the accuracy of the company's general ledger. Your responsibilities will include documenting day-to-day transactions, reviewing the ledger monthly and annually, and collaborating with Bookkeepers, Auditors, and Accounting Clerks. You will be expected to review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations, as well as generate revenue reports for internal and/or external use. Additionally, you will track and maintain billing information in financial systems, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations. To excel in this role, you will need a broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools, obtained through extensive work experience or vocational/technical education. Strong financial analysis skills, familiarity with tax laws and GAAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, are essential. While working under limited supervision for routine situations, you will also provide assistance and training to lower-level employees. The ideal candidate for this position holds a Bachelor's degree from a three or four-year college or university and has a minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience.
