Role Overview
The SSE L1 Engineer will be responsible for providing first-level support for issues related to Security Service Edge (SSE) solutions such as Netskope, ZTNA, NG-SWG, CASB, DLP, and remote access security. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, and escalation to L2/L3 teams.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
1–3 years of experience in IT Security / Network Security / Security Support
Basic knowledge of:
SSE / SASE concepts
Cloud Proxy, VPN, Zero Trust, ZTNA
HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, certificate troubleshooting
Identity & access controls (AD / Azure AD / SSO / SAML)
Basic networking & firewall rules
Experience with security tools: Netskope (preferred), Zscaler / Prisma Access / Broadcom / Forcepoint etc.
Familiar with endpoint OS (Windows/Mac), browser proxy settings, user authentication logs
Good communication, documentation, and customer handling skills
