Job Title: Front Office Duty Manager Reports to: Front Office Manager/Assistant Manager Department: Front Office Location: Gokulam Park at Coimbatore Job Summary: To oversee the smooth operation of the front office department, ensuring exceptional guest service, managing front office staff, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Guest Service: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve any complaints or issues promptly. 2. Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of front office staff, including receptionists, concierges, and bell staff. 3. Front Office Operations: Oversee the smooth operation of the front office, including check-in/check-out, room assignments, and key control. 4. Room Allocation: Manage room allocations, ensuring that guests are assigned suitable rooms and that room inventory is accurately maintained. 5. Revenue Management: Monitor and control room rates, occupancy, and revenue, ensuring that the hotel's revenue goals are met. 6. Communication: Liaise with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless service delivery. 7. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to front office staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service. 8. Problem-Solving: Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring that guests' concerns are addressed and resolved. Requirements: 1. Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field. 2. Experience: Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in a front office management role, preferably in a hotel or resort. 3. Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 4. Knowledge: Familiarity with hotel operations, front office procedures, and hospitality software. 5. Certifications: Certification in hospitality management or a related field is an asset. Working Conditions: 1. Hours: Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. 2.
