In the hotel industry, a Housekeeping Associate plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within guest rooms and public areas. Their responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies, as well as responding to guest requests and reporting any maintenance issues. They contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment.

  • Cleaning and Sanitizing:This includes tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces in guest rooms and public spaces like lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Restocking Supplies:Associates ensure that guest rooms are adequately stocked with amenities like toiletries, towels, and linens.
  • Bed Making and Linen Changing:They change bed linens and make beds according to hotel standards.
  • Responding to Guest Requests:This includes addressing requests for extra towels, pillows, or other items.
  • Reporting Maintenance Issues:They identify and report any maintenance problems or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintaining Equipment and Supplies:Housekeeping associates are responsible for keeping cleaning equipment and supplies organized and in good working order.
  • Ensuring Compliance with Standards:They follow established procedures and protocols to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Laundry Duties:In some hotels, they may assist with laundry tasks, such as sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
