BELL BOY

A bellboy's primary responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with luggage, providing information, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. They are often the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in creating a positive first impression. Additionally, they may handle guest requests, deliver messages and packages, and assist with valet parking.

Guest Interaction & Arrival/Departure:

• Greeting Guests:Bellboys are often the first hotel staff to interact with guests, welcoming them to the hotel.
• Luggage Handling:They assist guests with their luggage, loading and unloading it from vehicles, and transporting it to and from guest rooms.
• Providing Information:They can provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and directions within the hotel.
• Escorting Guests:Bellboys may escort guests to their rooms and explain the room features.

Guest Service & Support:

• Handling Requests: They promptly and professionally handle guest requests, such as delivering items to rooms or arranging transportation.
• Message/Package Delivery: Bellboys are responsible for delivering messages and packages to guest rooms.
• Maintaining Lobby Area: They help keep the lobby area clean and organized.
• Valet Assistance: In some hotels, they may also assist with valet parking services.
• Coordination: They coordinate with other hotel departments (like the front desk and concierge) to ensure guest satisfaction.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Room Changes: They assist with luggage transfers for guests who are changing rooms.
• Wake-up Calls: In some cases, they may also provide wake-up calls.
• Left Luggage: They may handle left luggage storage for guests arriving early or departing late.
• Maintaining Professionalism: Bellboys are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of Hotel & Area: They should have a good understanding of hotel procedures and the local area.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,748.78 - ₹16,000.00 per month
