Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing and maintaining day-to-day BAU operations, including monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability. Additionally, you will build infrastructure as code (IAC) patterns that meet security and engineering standards, develop CI/CD pipelines using tools like Octopus, GitLab-CI, and ArgoCD, and automate operational processes. Your role will also involve ensuring observability around system uptime, managing observability setup, building comprehensive runbooks, collaborating with engineering teams to provide solutions, staying updated with industry trends, participating in rotational shift/on-call duties, and effectively communicating with technical peers and team members. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain day-to-day BAU operations, including monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues - Build infrastructure as code (IAC) patterns meeting security and engineering standards - Develop CI/CD pipelines using Octopus, GitLab-CI, and ArgoCD - Build and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operational processes - Ensure observability around system uptime and take necessary actions to triage issues - Manage observability setup and enhance capability with proficiency in PromQL queries - Build comprehensive runbooks to manage, detect, remediate, and restore services - Collaborate with engineering teams to provide quick solutions and improve processes - Support operations team by monitoring system logs and performance metrics for improvement - Stay updated with industry trends in SRE, observability, alerting, and infrastructure automation - Actively participate in rotational shift/on-call duties - Communicate effectively with technical peers and team members Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, preferably Azure - Cross-functional knowledge in Linux systems, storage, networking, security, and databases - Familiarity with orchestration tools like Kubernetes - Proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, etc. - Capability to develop and maintain software in any programming language - Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices (e.g., GitLab, ArgoCD, Octopus) - Awareness of monitoring infrastructure and application uptime for functional and performance objectives - Excellent communication and collaboration skills,
