Sr Workforce Data Analyst

As a Senior Workforce Data Analyst at Syneos Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering data-driven insights that shape talent strategies and organizational decisions. Your work will involve supporting the development of dashboards, reports, and analytics to measure the impact of HR programs and enable business leaders to understand workforce trends for informed decision-making. Your responsibilities will include serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Syneos HR data, systems, and reporting structure. You will be tasked with translating business and HR questions into data hypotheses and insights, conducting analysis and modeling across the employee lifecycle, and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and opportunities. Collaboration will be key in this role as you work with global HRBPs, COEs, and IT partners to ensure high-quality data delivery and usability. You will also be responsible for building, maintaining, and automating dashboards and recurring reports using tools like Power BI, Workday, and Excel. Additionally, you will support Business Development (BD) and Proposals by providing valuable workforce data insights. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Computer Science, Math/Statistics, or a related field, with an advanced degree being a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR analytics or reporting, preferably in a global or matrixed environment, is required. Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel skills, and experience with data storytelling are essential for success in this role. Your ability to manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and meet deadlines will be crucial. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a collaborative and proactive approach to work will be highly valued. As a self-starter, you should be able to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance. Experience working with cross-functional teams or in shared services will be advantageous.
