We are seeking a Visual Designer (on a contract basis) to enhance the overall aesthetic of the end-to-end customer shopping experience. In this role, you will work with a small, passionate team to conceptualise, define, and design both the high-level strategy and detailed visual design framework, innovating new and easier ways to guide and delight customers through the shopping experience.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a visual designer in a startup or creative agency in graphic design or a similar role.
• A strong portfolio of visual design work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch /. Figma, Illustrator, Invision, Photoshop or similar.
• Bachelors, or equivalent degree, in Creative Direction, Graphic Design, or related field or equivalent professional experience within the design field.

Preferred Qualifications

• An exceptional portfolio of innovative, customer-centric work that demonstrates visual design excellence.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the latest design concepts and emerging trends in user-centred visual design.
• Effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries to influence and deliver results.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
• Able to translate concepts into concrete depictions to clarify ideas and advance collaboration based on shared understanding.
• Willing to roll up the sleeves to meet business and product deliverables.
• Passion for the power of user-centred visual design done well and well-versed in design critique best practices.
• Expert knowledge or familiarity with accessibility best practices.
• Work as a part of the team with copywriters, designers, executives, etc.
