Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing)

Experience:

3-5 years

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with specific expertise in Playwright and Selenium using Java or Python.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
Conduct regression testing to ensure application stability.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Create and maintain detailed test documentation and reports.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and testing standards.
Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on testing methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3- 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.
Proven experience with Playwright or Selenium automation frameworks.
Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Manual Testing:
Expertise in designing and executing manual test cases.
Automation Testing:
Proficiency in Playwright or Selenium.
Programming Languages:
Java, Python.
Test Case Design:
Ability to create detailed and effective test cases.
Regression Testing:
Experience in conducting thorough regression tests.
Bug Tracking Tools:
Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Bugzilla.
CI/CD Tools:
Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
API Testing:
Experience with tools like Postman, RestAssured or Karate.
Database Testing:
Proficiency in SQL and database testing.
Version Control Systems:
Experience with Git or other version control tools.
Cloud Platforms:
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
