Sr Technical Lead-QA

As a Sr Technical Lead-QA at Aristocrat, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high game standards and ensuring compliance within the gaming sector. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing test teams to uphold quality engineering guidelines, encompassing test strategy, preparation, and execution. - Providing leadership and mentorship on work scope and dependencies to meet test requirements. - Identifying and communicating risks to collaborators, offering technical assessments as needed. - Collaborating closely with Game Development teams to address issues identified in test cycles. - Working with Compliance and regulatory agencies during pre-compliance test phases to identify requirements and resolve issues. - Applying defect tracking tools for reporting and tracking issues until closure. - Providing detailed bug analysis and assisting developers with debugging. - Monitoring the overall project health to ensure compliance with testing guidelines and established procedures. - Setting up and configuring test setups and fixtures for games, testing independently as required. - Identifying and analyzing game performance and memory issues, capturing core dumps/logs using appropriate tools. - Suggesting improvements to the overall testing process, including tools, processes, and test cases. Desired Qualifications: - Engineering degree (MCA, BE, or B.Tech) with at least 7+ years in quality and testing, 3+ years in team leadership. - Outstanding practical software testing abilities with a detailed comprehension of industry guidelines and methodologies. - Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with global collaborators. - Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging and working closely with team members and collaborators. - Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA. - Previous background in the gaming sector is desirable.
