Sr Tech Lead

As a Senior Tech Lead at Barclays, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing software solutions using various engineering methodologies to deliver business, platform, and technology capabilities for both customers and colleagues. Your role will involve working with ETL/API solutions utilizing Ab>Initio with massively parallel processing architecture, as well as hands-on experience in AWS, Glue, Pyspark, and real-time processing. You should possess a strong understanding of ETL design patterns, data warehouse architecture, and data analytics skills to develop and maintain complex datasets using SQL tools. Additionally, you will be tasked with building and maintaining data architecture pipelines, implementing data warehouse and data lakes, and developing processing and analysis algorithms to handle data complexity and volumes effectively. Highly valued skills for this role include risk mitigation, stakeholder management, exceptional communication, exposure to AWS, and the application of advanced analytical techniques such as machine learning and AI.
