Sr. Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer at TNS, you will be an integral part of the Communications division, contributing to the planning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and design of telecom applications and services. Working closely with various teams including Development, QA, Product Management, Network Operations, and external customers, you will play a key role in ensuring the high availability of systems and services in both production and lab/test environments. Your responsibilities will include planning, administering, and troubleshooting high availability systems, analyzing and resolving complex problems, integrating applications with enterprise monitoring tools, developing KPIs and system metrics, and managing carrier-grade systems on a daily basis. Your expertise in Linux-based production platforms, systems and IP networking, AWS-based solutions, monitoring and analytics tools, scripting languages, and automation frameworks will be crucial in executing these responsibilities effectively. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 10 years of IT engineering experience, be fluent in English, possess strong problem-solving and incident management skills, and be able to work autonomously on projects with minimal guidance. Your ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively will be essential in fulfilling the diverse range of tasks expected from you. Additionally, experience with telecom applications or signaling networks would be advantageous for this position.
