Sr. Spec. DDIT OPS SC DevOps will partner with the team members to deliver business value, assist them in clearing impediments in consideration of Sprint commitments, provide process coaching, for our team to meet delivery and continuous improvement goals. They will also work with Project teams, Project Managers, Solution Design and Business Stakeholders to ensure we have a detailed understanding of the backlog as well as facilitating our team to interact and collaborate optimally with other teams in their Portfolio and Value Stream work.
Job Description
Major accountabilities:
- Understand key business objectives and strategy, communicate to the team in partnership with GBPOs
- Bridge the gap between conceptualizing and actioning project ideas
- Create and onboard project teams and integrating them into DDIT OPS Supply Chain by providing them with a clear vision of the product
- Monitors project progress, provides timely feedback to collaborators
- Facilitate Scrum Collaborations, Coordinate and/or facilitate story mapping, sprint/release planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and demo sessions
- Enable our team to meet sprint goals by helping to address potential impediments
- Partner with Product Owners to support agile projects, develop and prioritize the backlog
- Plans schedule for project deliverables and roadmap
- Develop and monitors agile critical metrics for the team
- Evaluate teams performance in agile, provide insight into progress of team velocity and sprint/release activities
- Motivate and inspire team members and improve their potential
- Be Agile process ambassador, foster and coach the team for adoption of Agile tools and practices
- Support Agile maturity and Innovation approaches across teams to improve the methodologies efficiency
- Knowledgeable on agile methodologies such as XP, Lean and Kanban, their strengths, weaknesses and how they can be used together with scrum
- Support deployment process - through helping with testing, business analysis process
Key performance indicators:
- Team velocity, lead time, cycle time, and throughput.
- Time to market -Sprint burn-down and release burn-up -Customer and team satisfaction.
- Defect escape rate
Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:
- 5 years or more experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role is preferred, with a good understanding of software development processes and project management.
- Overall, 10 years or more IT experience.
- Good understanding and experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and a deep understanding of Agile values, principles, and ceremonies.
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills to cultivate collaboration, handle group dynamics, and facilitate decision-making within the team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate sophisticated concepts and interact with collaborators at various levels.
- Good understanding on Project management tools like Devops/TFS/Jira
- A growth mindset and enjoys continuous learning and adapt well to new Agile practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, capable of identifying and resolving obstacles that hinder the teams progress.
- Exposure to Supply Chain Fundamentals.
- Bachelor s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
- Possess a valid certification among CSM, ACSM, CSPO, Safe Agile, PSM
- Project management certifications in PMP, Certification in IT project management (CITPM) or Prince2
