Role Overview: As a Senior Solution Sales Specialist in Data & Analytics within the Public Sector Banking domain in Mumbai, your role will involve being well versed with Public Sector Banking Sales processes and having experience in solution selling in Data & Analytics. You must possess domain knowledge of Data & Analytics and have a preferred background in selling analytics solutions to banks, especially if you have experience in cloud companies. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge in Banking Management to engage in meaningful conversations with potential and existing clients. Staying informed about the competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategies to effectively penetrate new markets will be crucial. You should demonstrate proven experience in selling software, solutions, and services to current and potential customers, with the ability to independently drive opportunities and manage internal and external stakeholders efficiently. Collaborating with field Account Executives to sell software, solutions, and services to current and prospective customers will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will be initiating and supporting lead generation activities, integrating strategy into the overall account plan, and qualifying leads by analyzing business drivers and technical fit. Showcasing strong customer connect, relationship management skills, partner management skills, end-to-end sales cycle experience, hunting and farming expertise, and a successful sales track record is essential. Being intensely involved in business process consulting to define problems, propose solutions, and create the best-fit solutions is also expected. Qualification Required: - Experience in solution selling in Data & Analytics - Domain knowledge of Data & Analytics - Background in selling analytics solutions to banks, especially in cloud companies - Proven experience in selling software, solutions, and services to current and potential customers - Strong customer connect, relationship management skills, partner management skills, end-to-end sales cycle experience, hunting and farming expertise, and a successful sales track record Additional Details: At SAS, diversity and inclusivity are core values.
