Job Description

Storage Infrastructure ManagementDesign, deploy, and maintain enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, object storage) across OEMs (NetApp, HPE, PureStorage)Monitor storage performance, capacity, and health using industry standard toolsImplement storage provisioning, tiering, and optimization strategies2
Backup & Recovery OperationsConfigure and manage backup (Veeam, Cohesity, CommVault) solutions across physical, virtual, and cloud environmentsEnsure successful execution of backup jobs, replication, and retention policiesPerform regular restore tests and validate disaster recovery readiness3
Data Protection & ComplianceEnforce data protection policies aligned with business continuity and compliance standardsSupport audits and reporting related to data retention, encryption, and recovery proceduresCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to secure backup repositories and storage endpoints4
Incident Response & TroubleshootingInvestigate and resolve storage and backup related incidents and performance issuesProvide root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsParticipate in on call rotations and support critical infrastructure during outages5
Documentation & CollaborationMaintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and recovery plansWork closely with application, network, and cloud teams to align storage and backup strategiesProvide technical guidance and training to junior engineers or support staffKey Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in enterprise storage platforms (e
