Job Description: 5+ years of expeince in IBM DatastageProven experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage minimum 4+ years and Microsoft SSIS Minimum 4+ years.Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL.Experience with data migration projects and ETL performance tuning.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Data Migration:Design and implement robust data migration strategies from Oracle to SQL Server.Ensure data integrity, consistency, and completeness during the migration process.Develop scripts and tools to automate and validate data transfers.ETL Pipeline Transition:Analyze existing DataStage ETL jobs and translate them into equivalent SSIS packages.Re-engineer and optimize ETL workflows for performance and maintainability.Implement logging, error handling, and monitoring in SSIS packages.Performance Optimization:Tune SQL queries and ETL processes for optimal performance.Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data processing pipelines.Apply best practices for indexing, partitioning, and parallel processing.Collaboration & Documentation:Work closely with data architects, DBAs, and business analysts to understand requirements.Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data mappings, and migration plans.Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams as needed
