Sr. Software Engineer

Role Overview: You will be the Optimizely B2B configured commerce senior IT software engineer at Polaris Inc. Your main responsibility will involve understanding business needs, designing the Optimizely configured commerce solution, and working with developers to ensure the solution meets all requirements. You will be pivotal in creating, scaling up, enhancing, and upgrading the Optimizely configured commerce solution used as a dealer ordering portal for Polaris International. Key Responsibilities: - Design the Optimizely configured commerce front end and back-end solution based on business requirements and functional design documents - Lead and build solutions while guiding a team of developers - Conduct code reviews, performance tests, and benchmarking to ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards - Collaborate with enterprise architects to make architectural and design decisions as required - Define, plan, and execute unit tests, integration tests, and support user acceptance tests - Create implementation plans and coordinate with the ERP team for production implementation - Provide timely support by troubleshooting and resolving issues - Possess strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web Services, ORM, Responsive Design, SQL Server, React JS, GIT workflow, TDS, Continuous Integration, Team City, Azure - Integrate a variety of 3rd party systems and build APIs - Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile Development Methodology and exhibit a customer service orientation Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Design, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent - Minimum 8 years of experience with at least 3-5 years in enterprise e-commerce (B2B & B2C) and 2 years in delivering solutions as an Optimizely B2B Commerce engineer - Experience integrating the portal, preferably with MS D365 FO through headless commerce engine - Optimizely Configured Commerce Cloud Developer certification is a plus - Familiarity with marketing, sales, and service business processes Company Details (Optional): Polaris Inc.
