Sr Software Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing scalable core Java applications, web applications, and web services. Your role will also involve optimizing Looker dashboards and visualizations, writing technical designs based on requirements, and maintaining enterprise-grade SaaS software. Additionally, you will be expected to perform unit tests, code reviews, and promote high-quality, scalable project completion. Key Responsibilities: - Develop in Golang/Core Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Client-Side scripting, Hibernate, LookML, and Database - Optimize Looker dashboards and visualizations, including LookML models, explores, and views - Ensure dashboard performance, apply best practices in LookML development, and manage version control using Git - Write technical designs based on requirements and adapt Agile methodology for software development - Assist in tuning and optimization and execute unit tests for product components - Perform peer code reviews, provide feedback, and promote high quality, scalability, and timely project completion Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience - Understanding of Data Structures, algorithms, and their applications - Experience in Java/Golang and building microservices using Golang/Spring Boot stack - Extensive experience in developing and consuming REST APIs - Proficient in at least one front-end framework such as Angular or Vue - Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Experience in SQL queries and software development using Java Sprintboot, Kafka, SQL, Linux, Apache Redis - Hands-on experience in Looker, Looker Basics, LookML, Looker Dashboard development, and Dashboard Performance optimization - Experience in LookML API integration and LookML Version control system with Git - Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and general logical reasoning - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills - Experience: 4 to 10 years Additional Company Details: Uniphore is a B2B AI-native company driving business outcomes across multiple industry verticals.
