Sr Software Engineer

You will be a part of a fastest growing startup-technology-powered accounting firm, working with a world-class and ambitious engineering team backed by the same investors of OpenAI. Your role will involve delivering full stack features end to end in our codebases, primarily leveraging React, Node/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Python. Additionally, you will deploy, manage, and improve software solutions adopted by the accounting teams, build data and workflow integrations across multiple systems, debug production issues with an automation/monitoring mindset, collaborate closely with the core engineering team, and utilize AI coding assistants proficiently to accelerate implementation, tests, debugging, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver full stack features using React, Node/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Python - Deploy, manage, and improve software solutions for accounting teams - Build data and workflow integrations across multiple systems - Debug production issues and automate monitoring - Collaborate with the core engineering team and contribute through PRs, design notes, and runbooks - Utilize AI coding assistants effectively to enhance productivity Qualifications Required: - 3-8 years of experience in building and supporting production web applications - Proficiency in TypeScript/Node, React, Python, and SQL - Experience in designing APIs and working with external integrations - Strong skills in testing, debugging, and code review - Excellent problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset - Ability to work from Hyderabad in-person with some timezone overlap with the U.S. team.,
