We cater to the needs of our clients by delivering bespoke solutions that leverage our global markets, investment banking, research, trust service and asset management expertise. Key Support activities of Wealth Management include: Middle Office Support Reference Data Settlement Onboarding KYC Regulatory reporting Confirmation preparation and sending Statement processing Role Overview The successful candidate will join the WM IT team, which manages multiple applications across Wealth Management Business area supporting Japan for WM operations management. This role involves collaboration with a Japan team to deliver strategic technical solutions and system enhancements while maintaining existing systems. Candidate will be part of the Powai Tech team. The position interfaces with diverse stakeholders and requires strong communication skills (Japanese language proficiency is a plus but not mandatory) . Role & Responsibilities Lead the process of requirement gathering, designing and delivering the technical solutions while ensuring alignment with development and business objectives. Own technical implementation of the endtoend software development lifecycle, including implementation and release management. Well versed in Agile way of working with experience in Sprint Planning, Execution etc . Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting for production issues . Act as the primary tech owner for resolving complex queries and ensuring timely responses. Lead tech team for the UAT , PROD release processes by collaborating with the QA team and regional operations teams (including Japan) to ensure all releases meet quality standards. Take ownership of the technical deliverables, continuously enhancing test suite to ensure comprehensive test coverage and highquality code deliverables. Foster strong collaboration and communication across global development, QA and support teams. Engage with crossfunctional IT teams to ensure cohesive project execution and alignment on goals. Actively participate in firmwide strategic initiatives, contributing technical expertise and insights to support organizational objectives. Enhance and support the Wealth Management IT frameworks, ensuring they are robust and scalable to meet evolving business demands. Skill Set Essential: A committed team player who possesses strong technical skills along with good written and verbal communication skills. Able to work with people across different departments, countries and regions. Good communication skills (clear and concise). Ability to think logically and systematically to devise solutions along with the team Ability to exhibit high level of professionalism in teamoriented environment. Ownership of technical deliverables for assigned areas. Technical: Should have 5-10 years of developer experience in Java , Spring and associated technology. Fundamental knowledge in Core Java is must along with good understanding of basic design patterns. Good understanding of JavaDatabase connectivity (JDBC, Persistence API, SpringJDBC). Knowledge in Spring Boot and Spring framework is required. A good understanding of webservices (REST based) is expected. Work ing on Stored Procedure and SQL is required. Experience in Tools like Jira, Gitlab is expected. Work ing knowledge of Containerization technology is expected. Strong understanding of CICD tools , Cloud native applications is expected . Domain Exposure to retail banking domain is plus .
