ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Senior PHP Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with a strong background in MySQL and MSSQL database management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, ensuring optimal performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using CodeIgniter PHP framework.
Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for MySQL and MSSQL databases.
Integrate and manage APIs and third-party services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and database-related issues.
Ensure code quality, scalability, and security by adhering to best practices and performing code reviews.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in PHP development and database management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in PHP development.
Proficiency in MySQL and MSSQL , including query optimization and database design.
Strong understanding of OOP principles and MVC architecture.
Experience with PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter .
Familiarity with version control systems like Git .
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud .
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML , CSS , JavaScript , and Vue.js/React/Angular .
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Understanding of database migration tools and techniques.

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field (or equivalent experience).
