Job Description

The Client is transforming the endpoint security space. Our ground-breaking products are helping customers recognize unparalleled value via timely detection, response, and prevention of advanced threats from unknown or targeted malware, malicious insiders, and a variety of other attacks and breaches.

We are looking for an experienced software lead who is passionate about solid design, enterprise architectures, with the ability to be hands-on to lead our Platform team in Pune, India.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide key leadership to small to medium-sized development team involved in architecture, design, building, and improving the next-generation security platform.
Collaborate with US counterparts on platform strategy, and execute the same with India team.
Growing and scaling the software development team in Pune.
Taking ownership over major components and challenging development projects.
Architect solutions, leading and mentoring teams to implement core features.
Collaborating with a technically rich, agile environment across multiple engineering locations.
Work on issues reported by a global customer and partner ecosystem, and help diagnose and repair defects.

Essential Requirements

A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Masters preferred.
10+ years experience in designing and developing large-scale applications.
Previous work experience in the US or collaboration with US teams is a must.
Extensive knowledge of software architecture, data structures, and modern design patterns.
Expert in Object-Oriented development in core Java, especially concurrency / multithreading.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies.
Experience building streaming data pipelines with Spark, Kafka.
Experience leading and mentoring teams to ship major features and releases.
Experience with the software development life cycle.
Must have a working knowledge of security applications like antivirus, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
Familiarity and experience with the Agile development process.
Fluency in English.
Excellent communication skills.
Startup work experience is a major plus.
