Role Overview: You demonstrate exceptional functional testing abilities, with a strong focus on identifying and addressing edge cases. Ensuring comprehensive test coverage to maintain high-quality standards and prevent potential issues is a key aspect of your role. You are responsible for writing detailed test cases to thoroughly evaluate software functionality and meticulously documenting defects, tracking them through to resolution. Active participation in grooming and planning sessions is expected from you, providing estimates for test activities. Developing and maintaining test plans to guide the testing process is also part of your responsibilities. Taking ownership of releases, ensuring all functional testing requirements are met, is crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate exceptional functional testing abilities with a focus on identifying and addressing edge cases - Write detailed test cases to evaluate software functionality - Document defects meticulously and track them through to resolution - Participate actively in grooming and planning sessions, providing estimates for test activities - Develop and maintain test plans to guide the testing process - Take ownership of releases to ensure all functional testing requirements are met - Have a good understanding of JIRA and XRAY or similar test management tools - Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation testing - Capable of contributing to the existing automation framework and building a new framework from scratch - Hands-on experience in JavaScript, along with a strong understanding of Selenium or other automation tools and testing frameworks like Xunit - Understand API testing and automation, familiarity with Postman automation - Have prior experience in testing conversational chatbot applications - Work within Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban - Possess a strong testing mindset with meticulous attention to detail - Understand object-oriented design principles and best practices of automation scripting - Proactively provide inputs during grooming sessions based on design/implementation options - Stay up to date on the latest technology developments - Be willing to learn and share learnings with the community - Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their growth and development - Previous work experience in the finance domain is considered a plus Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation testing - Hands-on experience in JavaScript - Strong understanding of Selenium or other automation tools and testing frameworks like Xunit - Prior experience in testing conversational chatbot applications - Experience working within Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban - Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and best practices of automation scripting - Previous work experience in the finance domain is considered a plus.,
