Sr QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at Circana, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise in test automation using Java and Selenium, along with your proficiency in SQL/Oracle, will be essential in implementing automation strategies in an agile environment. Additionally, experience in scripting languages like Python and web services/API automation will be advantageous. Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing automation strategies and frameworks, developing automated test scripts, maintaining existing test scripts, and documenting relevant test documentation for script deployment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to ensure automation testability is incorporated into product design. Working in Agile teams, you will contribute to regression handling strategies and participate in regular review sessions with project teams. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools, including automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG, is required. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential. You should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively. In addition to technical skills, your ability to embody Circana's core behaviors is crucial.
