Required Skills (Must Have):
Strong experience in functional testing of web and non-web-based (legacy/mainframe, client-server) applications as well as middleware components like MQ, healthcare information protocolsAbility to analyze software requirements and create detailed test scenarios and cases.Experience in client interaction to gather and clarify product requirements.Participation in design and requirement reviews, offering valuable input on usability, testability, and risks.Hands-on experience with Selenium using Java, Python, or C#.Proficient in developing and maintaining automation frameworks (preferably from scratch).Working experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).Experience testing RESTful APIs and ML-based services using tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, REST Assured, etc.Proficient in creating and executing SQL queries.Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and test management/defect tracking tools like ALM, Jira.Exposure to both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum/SAFe) development methodologies.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation and test artifacts.Basic understanding of Java-based application deployments.Exposure to performance testing tools and methodologies.Familiarity with QA metrics such as defect density, rejection ratio, defect leakage, pass/fail rates, etc.Additional experience in BDD framework design and implementation is a plus.Experience with laboratory systems workflows and processes.
