Sr. Purchase Executive

You are looking for a Senior Purchase Executive with a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing purchase strategies, managing purchase activities, and maintaining supplier relations by negotiating contracts, prices, and timelines. It will be your duty to oversee the supplier database, purchase records, and related documents. You will work closely with the inventory control team to determine and manage inventory needs and ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications. Additionally, you will prepare cost estimates, manage the budget, and source various engineering items and electrical components. Your responsibilities will also include sourcing fabricators for steel structures, finalizing AMC contracts for equipment such as AC, Lift, Air Compressor, Gen set, RO Plant, and Dehumidifiers, as well as coordinating with the Stores Team for stock inventory and replenishment to avoid stock-out situations. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Continuous Process Industry, with preference given to those with experience in the Glass industry and allied fields. A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required, along with proficiency in ERP systems. Experience in Civil refurbishment jobs is an added advantage. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, attention to detail, track orders to ensure timely delivery, interpersonal skills, analytical skills for cost analysis, and solid judgment and decision-making skills. Proficiency in Hindi is mandatory for this position.,
