Sr. Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager in Mumbai on a 1-year contract, your main responsibilities will include: - Establishing the overall project governance framework, defining strategic roadmaps, and ensuring project alignment with overall business goals. - Effectively managing communications and expectations with executive-level stakeholders and steering committees. - Proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating high-impact project risks and resolving critical project impediments. - Championing best practices derived from PMP/PRINCE2, mentoring team members, and overseeing quality assurance of all project deliverables. - Overseeing the project budget and resource allocation, optimizing for efficiency within the light engagement structure. Qualifications & Requirements: - 10-12 years of extensive experience managing complex, cross-functional IT or data-related projects. - Holding a current and valid PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification. - Demonstrated success in leading high-impact projects through a light/part-time model, requiring strong independent leadership and prioritization skills.
