Sr Program Specialist

In this role as a Senior Program Specialist at Honeywell, you will play a crucial part in managing projects for HCI India Business. Your responsibilities will include defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and customer requirements. By developing and implementing project plans encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, you will oversee efficient project execution and delivery. Monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact project delivery are essential tasks that will contribute to successful project outcomes. Your impact in this role will be significant, as you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage project operations to ensure successful end-to-end execution and delivery. - Lead a team of Engineers and coordinators, providing guidance and support. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop and implement program strategies. - Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. **Area of Responsibility:** **Key Activities/Elements:** - **Management:** - Overall responsibility for end-to-end delivery of Assigned Projects at HCI India level with the given resources and delivering the agreed numbers. - Manage HCI India projects effectively in compliance with HPS GPMO guidelines, APAC policies, processes, procedures, tools, and business best practices. - **Customer Satisfaction:** - Maintain customer satisfaction at acceptable levels and promptly resolve customer issues for assigned Projects. - **Finance:** - Own projects" financial performance and monitor financial performance monthly. Continuously review estimates versus actuals across HCI projects to improve operational metrics such as Revenue, Billing, Collection, etc. - **Cost Control & Productivity:** - Drive costs down to be competitive in the market. Maximize productivity through effective methods and standard processes. - **Estimate and Risk Reviews:** - Participate in estimate review/risk review processes to ensure labor estimates are correct and achievable from a technical perspective. - **Resource Planning:** - Ensure projects are resourced properly in coordination with the Engineering team. - **Other Skills:** - Financial Skills, Decision Making, Execution, Risk Management, Customer Relationship Management, Drive for Results. **Qualifications:** - 10+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the process measurement and control industry. - Bachelor's degree in engineering. - Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget. - Strong leadership and project management skills. - Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
