Role Overview: As a Senior Product Development Engineer (PHP) at this Digital Airport Company based in New Delhi, your primary responsibility will be to write server-side application logic in PHP, design scalable and robust software systems, and integrate applications into larger architectures. You will play a crucial role in driving the development of customizations and product features with a strong emphasis on innovation, efficiency, and security. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers, ensure secure code practices, and work with various software tools and databases to deliver performance-oriented applications for the travel and airport industry. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiently write server-side logic in PHP and other PHP-based environments. - Design and implement robust, scalable, and reusable applications. - Collaborate with team members to integrate software applications across multiple platforms. - Stay updated with new technologies and contribute to enhancing development processes. - Mentor junior developers and guide them in problem-solving and technical issues. - Design and integrate APIs and web services with hands-on experience in SOAP, REST, and microservices. - Ensure application security by following best practices and conducting vulnerability testing. - Develop performance-oriented codes, specifically for production environments in the airport and travel industry. - Create and maintain documentation for developed systems and solutions. - Participate in Agile development cycles, following methodologies and practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3-6 years of hands-on experience in product development, PHP-based environments, and API integration.
