Sr Product Development Engineer

Role Overview: You will be the Senior Product Development Engineer specializing in PHP. Your main responsibilities will include writing server-side application logic, designing scalable and robust software systems, integrating applications into larger architectures, and driving the development of customizations and product features with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and security. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers, ensure secure code practices, work with various software tools and databases, and deliver performance-oriented applications specifically for the travel and airport industry. Key Responsibilities: - Write server-side logic in PHP and other PHP-based environments. - Design and implement robust, scalable, and reusable applications. - Collaborate with team members to integrate software applications across multiple platforms. - Stay updated with new technologies and contribute to the enhancement of development processes. - Mentor junior developers and guide them in problem-solving and technical issues. - Design and integrate APIs and web services, with hands-on experience in SOAP, REST, and microservices. - Ensure the security of applications by following best practices and conducting vulnerability testing. - Work on performance-oriented codes, specifically for production environments in the airport and travel industry. - Create and maintain documentation for developed systems and solutions. - Participate in Agile development cycles, following methodologies and practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 3-6 years of hands-on experience in product development, PHP-based environments, and API integration.
