Sr. Product Development Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer, your role involves coordinating with manufacturing plants for product development and ensuring compliance with design standards and codes. You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and verifying design calculations, as well as releasing final drawings to manufacturing plants. Additionally, you will maintain quality records and schedule/budget records for projects. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with manufacturing plants for product development - Prepare, review, and verify design calculations - Release final design to manufacturing plants - Maintain quality records and schedule/budget records - Ensure compliance of products with design standards/codes - Conduct conceptual design studies and prepare technical specifications - Guide project teams and prepare necessary documents for submissions and certifications - Provide guidance and support to CAD Engineers in UG related tasks - Create alternative ideas/proposals for new designs Qualifications Required: - Graduate in Mechanical Engineering - 6 to 7 years of professional experience - Proficiency in 3D CAD (UG-NX preferred) and MS Office/Excel - Sound technical knowledge in design and development of pumps - Strong analytical skills and ability to guide others In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate distinct technical understanding, conscientious and reliable functioning, and a willingness to impart knowledge to colleagues for competency building. You will also be responsible for ensuring the correctness and completeness of design calculations and drawings, as well as liaising with KSB Germany for designated projects and processing offer permit requests.,
