As a Senior Product Analyst at Amgen, you will have the opportunity to be part of an exciting and innovative engineering team within the Enterprise Data Strategy and Engineering (EDSE) organization. Your role will involve developing cutting-edge capabilities and services in Data and AI using open-source software, frameworks, tools, and cloud computing services. Your focus will be on showcasing these capabilities to support critical business operations and initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational priorities. Your responsibilities will include leading and designing the user experience for enterprise data and AI platforms by analyzing customer behaviors throughout their journey. You will collaborate closely with business teams to understand platform requirements and support the engineering team in its development. Your involvement in the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy will ensure seamless product launches, aligning messaging with customer needs. Acting as the Voice of the Customer, you will work internally with Product Management, Product Engineering, and GTM teams to drive product adoption and achieve optimal outcomes. Your role will also involve engaging with customers to gain insights into their interactions with Enterprise Data and AI platforms, creating detailed personas to enhance user experiences, and building an active user community for knowledge-sharing and product adoption. Additionally, you will work with business stakeholders to understand data needs and identify opportunities to enable them on the platform. Monitoring and analyzing product performance metrics, collaborating with various teams to achieve product goals, and using data and analytics to drive improvements will be essential aspects of your role. Your insights and optimizations from product analytics will ensure alignment with overarching business goals and operational priorities for impactful outcomes. To be successful in this role, you are expected to have a Masters degree with 7 to 10 years of Information Systems experience, a Bachelors degree with 8 to 10 years of experience, or a Diploma with 10 to 12 years of experience. You should possess 5-7 years of experience in a product analyst role, specifically focusing on data and AI products and GTM execution. Proficiency in Excel, hands-on Agile methodologies experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are crucial. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with translation workflows and APIs, big data technologies, AI platforms, cloud-based data solutions, SQL, and experience in services or consulting related to data and AI products. Soft skills such as strong analytical abilities, effective global team collaboration, self-motivation, multitasking capabilities, teamwork, and excellent presentation skills are highly valued.
