Sr. PBX Deployment Engineer (Hosted)

As a Sr. PBX Deployment Engineer (Hosted), you will play a crucial role in deploying voice installations, resources, and processes using cutting-edge technologies to deliver top-notch solutions to the hospitality sector. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing equipment lists for accuracy. - Collaborating with the Project Management Team to schedule implementations and maintain communication throughout the project. - Programming systems remotely. - Managing all processes related to voice implementation deployments and ensuring smooth hand-off to support. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: - Industry-leading knowledge of telephony products such as Mitel, SIP, and E911. - Certification on Mitel MiVoice Business. - Familiarity with other applications within the Mitel portfolio. - Proficiency in Micontact Center, Mitel Border Gateway, and Mitel Standard Linux. - Minimum of an associate degree or 8-10 years of comparable experience. - At least 5 years of experience in large-scale voice installations in the lodging industry (preferred). - Deep understanding of network technologies related to voice (VoIP). - Ability to interpret PCAPs, understand BGP Routing, VPN, etc. - Knowledge of various virtualization technologies like VMware. - Strong troubleshooting skills in programming and network infrastructure. - Capability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships. Preferred qualifications for this role include: - Network+, CCENT, CCNA certification (active or expired). - Experience with configuring applications in a VMware environment. - Proficiency in LAN Technology. - Knowledge of infrastructure.
