The position of Site Quality Assurance Lead at the Contract Manufacturing location in India for Herbalife involves ensuring compliance with Herbalife requirements and global procedures in Quality assurance and control during the manufacturing and storage of Herbalife products. The primary responsibility includes monitoring processes, conducting audits, and communicating with the Contract Manufacturer (CM) for quality improvement. The role also involves handling complaint resolution, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Regular training and coordination with the CM for dispatch approvals and validation of new products are essential tasks. Reporting directly to the Manager QA India, the Site QA Lead must have a Graduation or Post Graduation degree in Food Technology/Food Science/Chemical Technology/Pharma or related fields. Candidates should have experience in handling Ayurveda products and knowledge of Ayush requirements. Proficiency in Quality and Food Safety Management systems implementation, as well as basic Quality control processes, is required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. With a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the Ayurveda/Nutraceutical/Pharma/Food industry, the ideal candidate will participate in continual improvement projects for Quality Assurance and control. Participation in cross-functional improvement projects, testing of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods, along with involvement in Out of Specification (OOS) investigations, are part of the responsibilities. The Site QA Lead will also collate information for Management Information System (MIS) reports and share periodic updates with the team based on defined requirements.
