Role summary

Core responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize Odoo 17/18 modules and workflows, improving existing implementations and adding new business functions.
Build and maintain REST APIs and third-party integrations, and work with shared code repositories for feature development, reviews, and merges in a team environment.
Manage and tune PostgreSQL (queries, performance, security), debug and fix bugs, and ensure overall system stability and performance.
Write clean
Python code following Odoo ORM/MVC
best practices, perform unit/quality testing, and respond quickly to customer tickets with practical fixes.

Must-have skills

Minimum 5+ years hands-on Odoo design/development/customization, with 2+ years on Odoo 18 or migrations.
Advanced Python expertise: OOP (MRO, decorators, polymorphism), data structures, generators, context managers, and PEP 8 standards.
Deep experience and knowledge of functionalties in core Odoo modules: Project Management, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, Finance.
Proven REST APIs/integrations, PostgreSQL optimization, and Odoo customizations in production.
Large enterprise implementations supporting 200–1000 concurrent users.
Hands-on design, coding, debugging, and troubleshooting in last 3 years (not just management).
