Sr. ML Engineer

As a Backend Engineer/ML Infra Engineer at Bluevine, you will play a crucial role in shaping and owning the ecosystem that productizes the core data products. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with the Data teams to enhance Data Analytics and Research, designing and implementing next-generation ML workloads, and developing end-to-end data pipelines. Here's what you'll do: - Support Bluevine's business and research Data teams by designing and developing data-centric infrastructure tools for real-time and offline data processing. - Design and implement modern, efficient Big Data technologies for ML workloads. - Utilize tools like AirFlow, SageMaker, and data frameworks to create innovative solutions for the financial sector. - Develop end-to-end data pipelines, from data collection to making data available to stakeholders. - Collaborate closely with Bluevine's Data Science, Data Engineering, and Data Analytics teams. - Work with other R&D teams to incorporate industry best practices, define data governance procedures, and monitor system performance. In this role, Bluevine is looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. - 5+ years of full-time work experience as a Backend engineer/ML Infra engineer in a fast-paced, data-centric environment. - 5+ years of hands-on Python programming experience. - Experience with AWS ecosystem and container technology (e.g., Docker, K8S). - Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse backgrounds. - Quick learner, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to learn new technologies, frameworks, and algorithms quickly. - Proactive, result-driven, and able to meet deadlines. - Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
