Sr. Manager Production

As a Senior Manager Production at our Guwahati location, you will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations to ensure smooth production processes and meeting quality standards. Your role involves planning, coordinating, and directing production activities while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies. Your key responsibilities will include planning and coordinating production and packing activities to achieve monthly targets. You will review daily production activities for various processes such as Granulation, Compression, Coating, Capsule filling, Inspection, Packing, and Nutra section. Ensuring Good Documentation Practices (GDP) at the shop floor and packing area will be crucial. Collaboration with various departments like IPQA/QC/Engineering/PPC/SCM/EHS & FDD/MSTG will be essential for the smooth functioning of production and packing activities. Handling SAP related work, implementing best practices in line with cGMP, and ensuring online documentation compliance will be part of your routine tasks. You will review and approve SOPs, purchase requisitions, investigations, process validation protocols, and equipment qualification reports. Timely execution of commercial validation batches, proper manpower allocation, and training on cGMP, SOPs, GDP, and EHS will be your focus areas. Troubleshooting commercial product issues, maintaining discipline among colleagues, and ensuring equipment maintenance will be vital. Your role will involve implementing corrective and preventive actions, maintaining master documents, preparing prerequisite documents for validation batches, and driving business excellence initiatives like Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S. Striving to improve production and packing processes for efficiency, utility consumption, and quality enhancement will be part of your continuous improvement efforts. Reporting any deviations, abnormalities, and performing other assigned tasks by the operational head or management will be expected from you. With 15+ years of experience and a B.Pharm / M.Pharm educational background, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our manufacturing operations.,
