Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the comprehensive mechanical maintenance, including preventive and predictive maintenance, for slitting, pickling, and tube mills.
Ensure production line availability, efficient material management, job planning, safety protocols, continuous improvement initiatives, employee training, development, and accountability.
Develop and implement departmental objectives to achieve operational targets.
Manage spare parts maintenance, maintain ISO documentation, and engage in technical discussions with vendors.
Possess knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic valves.
Monitor and manage the cost of maintenance departments effectively.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to enhance equipment availability.
Create and execute monthly preventive maintenance plans to optimize maintenance costs.
Analyze monthly maintenance costing data for informed decision-making.
Analyze processes and implement development plans to increase machine availability.
Implement process analysis and development plans to minimize yield loss and prevent accidents.
Organize safety awareness programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Develop action plans and implement programs to achieve zero accidents.

Mandatory Skills:

12-15 years of experience in ERW mechanical maintenance within CRM and Tube mill backgrounds.

Qualification:

B. Tech / BE (Mechanical)
