Description
The candidate will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish and handover in close coordination with internal teams like Business Development, project development, EPC, and finance. This role will involve planning, monitoring, and implementing ground-mounted Solar PV projects within the stipulated budget, timeline, and scope. A Project Management Professional is required to support the Project Director/President Project based in Gurgaon, India, and be part of the Indian team working towards the vision of Powering the energy transition! Responsibilities: - Planning, implementing, and streamlining processes for ground-mounted Solar PV projects of any size to be executed by ib vogt Solar India. - Coordinating with the land & permitting teams once a project is finalized to estimate the timeline for obtaining land and final permits. - Working closely with the design & engineering team to finalize the project layout, design, engineering drawings, etc., and coordinating with other teams to ensure project progress. - Preparing project plans, budgets, project schedules, flow charts, and reports for Management Information System (MIS) and implementing them for each project to ensure contractual/compliance. - Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and reports in an easily retrievable manner. - Identifying and resolving project challenges, hurdles, and issues with the help of the line manager. Visiting and staying at the project site for assessment and troubleshooting. - Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies. - Knowledge of claim and change management is desirable. - Tracking project progress and schedule to ensure the timely delivery of supply, services, and permits. - Working with internal stakeholders to mitigate implementation risks, eliminate blockers, delays, and functions to complete the project within the timeframe. - Supporting the site team for all Head Office and vendor-related requirements. Required Skills: - Hands-on experience in MS Office/Primavera v6/MS Project. - Ability to coordinate with stakeholders. - Multitasking ability and experience in handling multiple assignments simultaneously. - Problem-solving attitude as the role involves playing a cross-functional role. - Candidates with experience in both site and corporate settings will have an added advantage. - Prompt, proactive, and willing to accept challenging assignments. Qualification & Educational Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field (Preferably engineering background). - At least 7 years of experience in Solar PV Project Management. - Knowledge of industry practices and project management tools. ib vogt GmbH, established in 2002, focuses on developing and delivering high-quality large-scale turnkey PV plants worldwide.
