Sr Manager, Information Security Architecture & Engineering

As an Information Security Architecture and Engineering Senior Manager at Avient Corporation, you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the overall design, implementation, and operation of security technologies. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and leading the implementation of the security architecture roadmap to achieve business performance targets and cyber maturity protection goals - Ensuring that security capabilities are properly implemented and tuned to address known and emerging threats - Collaborating across IT and the business to ensure that technology roadmaps and implemented solutions meet risk requirements - Establishing and maintaining architecture and engineering standards for the organization - Consulting on Operational Technology (OT) security requirements, and recommending, designing, and delivering capabilities to protect these environments - Staying informed of industry trends and relevant threat activity to adapt Avient's capabilities as needed - Performing other leadership duties as assigned To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Cloud and platform certifications are preferred - 10+ years of experience leading Information Technology teams, with substantial experience leading distributed engineering teams - A strong track record of integrating modern architectures with traditional environments to achieve an effective security posture - Strong knowledge of application security, including OWASP TOP 10 and other vulnerability frameworks - Experience with threat modeling methodologies at both application and enterprise levels - Strong familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and related security standards and best practices Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include: - Knowledge of modern authentication and identity infrastructures and cross-platform interoperability - Experience in Cyber Incident Response - Proficiency in Project Management and Quality Management methodologies Avient Corporation values diversity and equality of opportunity for all qualified individuals.
