Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Contract Management
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Contract Manager with deep experience in managing contracts and vendor relationships with leading financial data service providers such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PitchBook, FactSet, and others. This role will be instrumental in optimizing contract terms, ensuring compliance, and driving cost efficiencies while maintaining strong vendor partnerships.Responsibilities:.Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle:.Sourcing and vendor selection.Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and renewing contracts.Drive commercial evaluation and business use case validation:.Ensure contract terms enable practitioners to use data effectively for client delivery.Lead negotiations independently:.Handle 90-100% of contract terms with minimal reliance on legal teams.Collaborate with legal for compliance and risk mitigation.Manage high-value and complex deals:.Experience negotiating contracts >%241M and smaller renewals.Partner with internal stakeholders:.Work closely with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Business Units.Ensure compliance:.Adhere to internal policies, regulatory standards, and data usage guidelines.Track vendor performance:.Monitor SLAs and KPIs manage escalations and dispute resolution.Analyze usage and optimize cost:.Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Stay informed on industry trends:.Pricing benchmarks, emerging vendors, and best practicesQualifications we seek in you.Minimum qualifications.Bachelor's degree required master%27s preferred.Relevant years of experience in contract management, procurement, or vendor negotiations.Proven track record managing contracts with financial data vendors (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PitchBook, FactSet).Strong understanding of:.Licensing models.Data entitlements.Compliance frameworks.Intellectual property rights.Commercial and negotiation expertise:.Ability to lead negotiations for high-value deals (> %241M).Stakeholder management:.Excellent communication and influencing skills.Technology proficiency:.Contract management tools (e.g., Icertis, Ariba), Microsoft Office Suite.Analytical mindset with ability to interpret usage data and financial impact
