Job Description

Youll Need To:

  • o Take full ownership of the accounting function, including general ledger management and finalization of accounts.
  • o Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • o Maintain balanced books through meticulous reconciliations and strong internal financial controls.
  • o Lead internal and statutory audits with a structured, detail-oriented approach. o Demonstrate advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), leveraging them to optimize financial workflows.
  • o Navigate the manufacturing sector with a clear understanding of its operational and financial complexities.
  • o Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and other applicable corporate laws and regulations.
  • o Handle secretarial responsibilities, including maintenance of statutory registers, filing of returns with ROC, preparation of board and general meeting minutes, and assisting in board governance matters.
  • o Liaise with external consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and accurate compliance.
  • o Stay updated with changes in relevant laws and proactively implement necessary compliance measures.
  • o Combine strategic financial insight with operational agility to support business goals effectively.
  • o Work closely with leadership on budgets, forecasts, and "what if we did this crazy idea" scenarios.

Must-Haves:

  • o 78 years of strong experience in accounting, with demonstrated expertise in end-to-end financial management.
  • o Significant exposure to the manufacturing sector, with a deep understanding of industryspecific financial processes, cost structures, and compliance requirements.
  • o Proven capability in the finalization of accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to statutory norms.
  • o Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms.
  • o Strong orientation towards compliance, internal controls, and driving cost-efficiency across financial operations.
  • o Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, guide, and inspire teams.
